Extracted, documented and collected images, objects and construction residue from an old house belonging to my family, that is undergoing renovation. 

Through means that echo the process of the on going renovation, the material is developed in a series of object based sculptures and photo installations. By methods like sanding, grinding down, wrapping in, nailing together or glueing. Gestures of both destruction, construction and conservation are explored. What do we choose to keep as monuments and what purpose do these monuments serve?
